At some point, devs will realize: if you want to dig in my pocket again, show me the value proposition. Your promised "tomorrow" updates dont rationalize your current premium pricing. Nebulous Notes, especially with the keyboard extra line app, iKeywi 3, is as good a text editor as one can get on an iPhone! I use it constantly. Thanks, Phil!

The customizable keyboard makes text entry and editing much easier than the standard iPad keyboard. Its the best keyboard Ive seen on any app, including the new crop of iOS 8 plug-ins. The app is very good with synching and file management in Dropbox. By far, its the most useful tool on my iPad.

Its the perfect mixture of options (power) and minimal UI (simplicity.) The syncing is perfect. I can set the text as big as I want, adjust the colors to whatever suits me at the moment... Great for when its 2am and my eyes are *really* tired. Just turn up the text size, or better, zoom in!) Ive used this app daily for years now. If you need to work with text files, or want a minimalistic app to write in, this is the only one Id recommend. Its solid. Ive tried every alternative across all mobile OSes, and... I wish I could say there was competition, but there isnt. Nebulous does it best.

My favorite iOS plain text editor, which works great on my old tiny 3rd generation iPod Touch, and on my new iPad Air 2. But on my iPhone 6 Plus, its a joke. Its just a blown up interface directly from the small 3G Touch screen. The keyboard takes up 2/3 of the screen in portrait, and MORE than 3/4 in landscape.

I use this app on my iPad for editing text files in Dropbox. I use an external Apple Bluetooth keyboard, and everything works nicely. I can set the file encoding and the line terminator to what I want. Also, the documentation is good. This is my iPad text editing app of choice.

One of the main reasons why I chose this app is because it is simple and yet has searching capabilities. But its search is buggy - searching 3 times in a row for the same thing in a file causes it to freeze - you need to click out, and then click back in every two searches - very annoying. Please fix this!

More than a year since it was last updated. Search bug remains and no support of iOS 8 or iPhone 6. Cool tools, but clumsy UI. Look elsewhere...

Awesome notes/Markdown tool. The cloud integration is flawless. I couldnt recommend it more. I have purchased most of the Markdown capable notes programs in the App Store and this one is the best.

PIN entry still uses old layout and no Touch ID support if PIN is enabled.

This app works great for dealing with and writing in plain text/markdown.

Fast, simple, works seamlessly with Dropbox. Love the keyboard macro bar--wish Apple would have something like this systemwide.

Long time in coming, but Im glad to see Nebulous Notes is still being supported. Theres no better text editor for working on text files in Dropbox.

Fixed a bug but didnt add Touch ID. Please add Touch ID. Entering a passcode is so two years ago. Make me look like Im using that other OS that I cant mention here.

Great app that is always updated with new features by the developer. I love it, it meets all my needs. Ive played with all the inexpensive apps (dont think I should have to pay $5 when most well developed apps are less than that) and this is the best. Keep up the great work.

Reliable, versatile, and just powerful enough, NN is without a doubt one of the best notebook apps in the Store -- and believe me, Ive tried a LOT of them! Its particularly strong in its DropBox integration. Ive been using it since the iPad 2 and its only gotten better and never let me down. As a bonus, NN has a responsible and responsive developer who continues to update the app while retaining its original virtues of simplicity and capability and who promptly answers questions and responds to bug reports. Now if only hed grant my wish to make the apps great keyboard available as a cross-app custom keyboard for use everywhere in iOS!

Im really happy to have discovered Nebulous. It never loses my data! And if you have a problem there is an actual person that responds and helps!

I use this text editor daily. It is easy to use and does everything I want. I love the Dropbox capability. It is nice to have all my files safely backed up and available on my computer & other devices. I constantly switch between all of these, and my text fIles are always up to date with each other with a quick synch. I also like to save my files in folders within folders in Dropbox, which I can do with this app. The keyboard is easy to use for typing. This app is simple to use and has never crashed on me. I have found nothing else out there that is as convenient to use. Text files are great for notes and saving information. They can always be almost universally read by any computer or device. You never have to fear losing all your data because some software company went out of business. Your files and data are safe forever, as long as they are safely backed up.
